2014: integrated diagnostic approach in modern biopathology and molecular biology

2017: development of IN VIVO applications of nuclear medicine carried out using the γ camera

2019: development of ProMiSi digital application in collaboration with MedLab (Medical Technology & Intelligent Information Systems Unit) of the University of Ioannina

2020: creation of a new diagnostic center at Stadiou Street 2 in Ioannina specializing in ultrasound examinations of all kinds, in color triplex vessels, and in the breast with the possibility of 3D digital tomosynthesis.

2021: creation and operation of the diagnostic center’s new state-of-the-art cloud pacs digital network service. By using the service, the examinee and the clinician will have access to the examinations that concern him.

2022: the operation of the new state-of-the-art CityLab microbiological laboratory in Nap began. Zerva 53 in Ioannina.

The radiodiagnostic and nuclear medicine laboratory operates from Monday to Friday (except holidays) from 08:15 to 21:00 while the microbiology – biopathology laboratory from Monday to Friday (except holidays) from 07:15 to 21:00 and on Saturday from 08 :00 to 12:00.

Our laboratory is housed at Fotos Tzavela 4 to 10 and is located in the heart of the shopping center, a point where almost all the private clinics of the city of Ioannina are located, while the area is served by a dense network of urban and interurban transport.

For the development of our activities, the departments occupy an area of ​​approximately 700 square meters. The building was completely renovated to become a luxury diagnostic center that is patient friendly and accessible.

The medical team, the technologists of the medical machines and all the staff of the laboratory, combining experience, appetite and comprehensive training in all areas of modern medical imaging, are able to respond reliably and efficiently to every requirement.

Our goal is the immediate service of regular and emergency cases, which, combined with continuous communication with the treating doctors, ensures the best result for the patient.

It is our self-evident obligation to meet the needs of hospital units whenever this is necessary.

IPPOKRATIO IOANNINON has a contract for carrying out the examinations with all the public insurance funds and with almost all the private insurance companies.

The diagnostic center has a specialized and highly qualified human resource with more than 30 employees. From the doctors, radiologist, medical equipment technologists, nurses and secretarial support staff, to the sanitary and cleaning staff, the security technician and the maintenance person, everyone gives their best every day to respond to the needs of the examinees according to the high standards and requirements of the laboratory. With the continuous training and education of the employees and the multiple certification procedures of the services, we ensure the high quality in the field of diagnostic laboratory tests.

At the beginning of 2020, the Breast Imaging and Ultrasound Center – IPPOKRATIO IOANNINON was created. This is a new state-of-the-art diagnostic center specializing in breast examinations (3D breast tomosynthesis, digital mammography, breast elastography) and other ultrasounds (ultrasounds of all categories, color triplex vessels and elastography of the liver and thyroid.

In the fall of 2022, the operation of the new state-of-the-art microbiological laboratory City Lab in Nap began. Zerva 53 in Ioannina.
In a modern and welcoming space, the CityLab biopathology diagnostic laboratories, using the capabilities of the latest generation equipment, offer a comprehensive approach to clinical requirements concerning biochemistry, hormones, hematology, classical and modern microbiology.
